Have heart, will travel! After Hurricane Michael, groups like New Life Dog Rescue doubled efforts to transfer needy pets from devastated rural shelters. Panhandle Pablo was named by caregivers who prepped him for the journey to Tampa. The lanky, 7-month-old Shepherd mix weighs less than 30 pounds. He's sometimes shy, always sweet, and playful with other dogs. The pup aims to please, and his name is totally negotiable. Meet Panhandle Pablo and other pals in person from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 27 at Lazy Days RV, 6130 Lazy Days Blvd., in Seffner. Adoptables come fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped from NewLifeDogRescue.org. Find more info on Facebook @NewLifeRescue.
