Job seekers can meet employers looking to fill positions during the 2018 University Area Job Fair, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday (April 12) at 14013 N 22nd St.
The event is sponsored by the University Area Community Development Corporation (CDC).
"This job fair will provide employment opportunities, connections, and professional development opportunities to university area community residents,'' said Sarah Combs, executive director of the University Area CDC, in a news release.
"By introducing employers to local talent, we help connect them with opportunities to support the community and make meaningful job placements."
Business owners, human resources directors and other executives seeking qualified personnel are requested to complete the "Vendor Registration Form" at bit.ly/UAJobFairVendor or call Marcia Cedano at mcedano@uacdc.org.

Representatives from the hospitality industry, retail and health care administration will be in attendance at the job fair.
University Area CDC offers support for thousands of Tampa residents through youth programs, adult education and resource assistance. Its primary mission is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding the University of South Florida's Tampa campus.
