West Park Animal Hospital opened its doors last month for pet owners and their four-legged furry family members.
Veterinarians Erin Hyde, Danielle Churchill, and David Gosche, along with Belle the Boxer, welcomed the community to their new practice with treats, prizes and tours on Feb. 17. Local artist Troy Douglas of InkBot Art-&-Design drew caricatures of both people and pets.
West Park Animal Hospital offers full service veterinary care for cats and dogs with a focus on excellent customer care and attention to detail.
"Our appointment times are longer than most appointment times so we can spend more time with people," Churchill said.
The office is designed to make vet visits easier. A scale built into the floor makes weigh ins simple, and there are two exam rooms dedicated just to dogs. One exam room is specifically for cats and has dimmable lights for those anxious felines.
"We want it to be as stress free as we can make it for them," Churchill said.
The hospital offers check ups, vaccines, laboratory diagnostic testings, X-rays, dental cleanings, surgeries and medications.
West Park Animal Hospital is located at 11659 Countryway Blvd. It is open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and is closed Saturday and Sunday. For more information, call (813) 749-6863, or visit westpark.vet.
