GIBSONTON - Tens of thousands are expected to flock to the Gibtown Bike Fest this weekend at the International Independent Showmen's Association, 6915 Riverview Drive.
The festival kicked off at 7 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 11) with the Kick off Party and performer Jesse Byer, and runs through Sunday.
The Bike Fest will be packed with vendors selling apparel, bike accessories, food, drink and more. It also features top musical entertainment, including Rod Black and The Kentucky Headhunters.
Other acts include thrill shows such as the high-flying motorcycle daredevil show. Events for today kick off at 4 p.m. with performers Kaul-&-Rebecca at Coconuts Stage and followed by other performers including Scream Machine, Dark Horse, Bobby Friss and Tommy Roxx.
Bike Fest opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 13) and entertainment starts with Wikked Steel on the Fran Law Stage under the Big Top. Performances continue with Jesse Byers and other live bands all day from noon to 8 p.m. on the Coconuts stage, Comeback Alice on the Fran Law Stage under the Big Top, Human Canonball at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., Jeriko Turnpike, Greg Billings, Kentucky Headhunters and Boss Hawg Band.
Bike Fest opens at 10 a.m. on Sunday (Jan. 14) and kicks off entertainment with The Black Honkeys at 1 p.m. at Fran Law Stage under the Big Top. Other entertainment includes the Human Canonball at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., Rocky Diamond Band, Randy McNeeley-&-Pat Travers and Ben Myer.
