TEMPLE TERRACE - If you like a choice of beers, how about more than 100 samples?
Some 35 different brewers will be on hand to offer samples of their products at the fourth annual Temple Terrace Craft BrewFest, held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday (May 19) at Woodmont Park, 415 Woodmont Ave.
In 2015, the Rotary Club of Temple Terrace launched its inaugural BrewFest, which not only drew residents of the city but also hundreds from the surrounding Tampa Bay area.
A variety of food trucks will be available, and the band NoNeed! will perform.
Last year, some 1,500 people attended and sampled beer to raise money for Rotary Club projects.
Those drinking beer must be at least 21 years old. Designated driver tickets are available at a reduced rate; they include unlimited water and soft drinks. Families are welcome.
Free parking is available in designated lots, a short walk from the park.
No outside food or beverages are allowed. All beer will be served in special pilsner containers and all water and soft drinks will be served in their original containers.
Children are welcome. Pets are too as long as they are leashed. Water bowls will be set out throughout the park.
Chairs and blankets are allowed in designated areas under the park's tree canopy.
General admission tickets on the day of the event are $40; for designated drivers, they're $20. Tickets purchased by Tuesday (May 15) are $35 general admission and $25 for students. Go to ttbrewfest.com.
In addition to Temple Terrace Rotary, sponsors include Ward-Mitchell Civil Trial Lawyers; Rivard Buick GMC; Shaughnessy Lawn Care; Tampa Bay Visitors-&-Hillsborough County; and the City of Temple Terrace.
