ODESSA - Old McMicky's Farm, 9612 Crescent Drive, holds its annual Barns-&-Beer Craft Beer Festival from 6:30-10 p.m. on Saturday.
The event will feature more than 100 craft beers, wines and ciders from local area brewers. Food trucks will be on site to offer food amid the beautiful scenery at the farm.
Mechanical bull rides, farm games and photo opportunities also will be featured.
The Soul Circus Cowboys, the Tampa band that continues to gain new fame through its uplifting song Believe, will provide the entertainment.
Tampa Bay Recipients of the Purple Heart Medal, which is awarded to combat wounded veterans, will be the special guests at the event.
Old McMicky's has enjoyed a revitalization in recent years as it seeks to extend its tradition of fun, education and creating great memories for kids and families in the Tampa Bay Area. It's also expanded its charitable efforts. Like other events - such as Mission I Do and Teachers Rock - the Barns-&-Beer festival will benefit nonprofit organizations.
