Festa Italiana returns to Ybor City

The 21st annual Festa Italiana returns this week.

The celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. on Thursday (April 5) with a wine tasting of more than 70 Italian wines at the Italian Club, 1731 E 7th Ave.

It continues with a two-day celebration from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Centennial Park, 1800 E 8th Ave.

Festa Italiana dates back to 1997 and has always honored Italian culture and heritage by showcasing the finest cuisine from the Tampa Bay area's top restaurants and catering companies, exciting entertainment from world-renowned performers through dancing, singing, or cooking presentations, a variety of premier wines and spirits, and a diverse selection of activities for all ages.

The two day festival is full of Italian food where people can taste different dishes around the park like Italian sausage, antipasti and more while enjoying entertainment from performers like Franco Corso, Vanessa Racci, Angelo Venuto and more.

There is also a children's area featuring plenty of games and activities such as grape stomping, and activities for adults like bocce, a silent auction, and the Club Italiana tent featuring adult patrons handcrafted Italian cocktails and beverages.

General admission is 10 each day at the gate.

The Feast Deal package is 75 and covers one-day admission for one person, two drink tickets, access to VIP tent, a catered meal in the tent, and access to reserved seating in front of the main stage.
