TAMPA - TiE Tampa Bay, a nonprofit that looks to promote the next generation of entrepreneurship and grow businesses, will hold its annual conference from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday (March 31) at the University of South Florida Sam and Martha Gibbons Alumni Center, 11810 USF Alumni Drive.
The conference promises to bring together successful and aspiring entrepreneurs from various industries, including healthcare, banking, construction, mining, real estate, media and information technology.
Specific topics will include: use of healthcare data analytics in improving patient care; shaping the next-generation of the financial tech evolution; innovations that shape the future of management of buildings and infrastructure; aging in place, a perspective from AARP; innovation and procurement in defense tech; how startups can engage and benefit from the Microsoft for Startups program and trends and evolution in angel investment.
The conference's featured speakers will include Arnie Bellini, CEO and founder of ConnectWise; TechData former CEO and chairman Steve Raymund and Dr. Sarvajna Dwivedi, co-founder of Pearl Therapeutics.
The conference is free for members, and charter members will receive two guest passes. Annual membership costs just $100, for TiECON and all monthly events are free for members.
